Droop, not drupe

Diva's challenge was to use the tangles drupe and pokeroot in a duotangle.  Drupe seems very appropriate for me today!   Yesterday was our school field day.  The weather was perfect and the kids were awesome.  I couldn't ask for a better day.  However, my feet and legs (and every other area) have checked out.  I was so exhausted yesterday, I could barely chew my supper and then off to bed for me.  I slept like a baby.  Today, I am much better rested, but still feel the effects of the long day.  So maybe my tangle should be named droop instead!

Diane Clancy's challenge was to use tangles that began with the letters VEY.  I chose vitrailToo, yewdee, and emingle.  Then I just felt like coloring a bit.

The Roman numeral challenge (Made by Joey) was number XII this week.  It had to be a monotangle using knightsbridge.  I rarely use that tangle.  It is very simple and can add a lot of drama, but for some reason it doesn't really appeal to me.

Well, that's the work for this past week.  I hope to get a lot more done when school is finally out.  I have several projects on my to-do list.  Have a great week-end!

  5. Great responses to the various challenges. I never know how you fit so many in. Love the red Pokeroot with the stem twisted around the drupe
