My first thought when I saw this word for this week was the fruit. In the back of my grandparent's house there were four of the best plum trees ever. The moment they ripened I would hang out beneath them eating until I was about to pop! It seemed like there was always something ready to pick around Papa's place - watermelons, cherries, pears, apples, peaches, and a variety of nuts (that were harder to eat on the spot). What a fun place it was to grow up!
Have a blessed day and thanks for dropping by!
That's a super inchie. The only problem I find with sitting under plum trees is that wasps love them too!
ReplyDeleteI love your inchie and I love the story. It brings back memories of hiding under the mulberry tree and then, with a completely purple face, trying to say that I really didn't eat any of them :)
ReplyDeleteLovely post about the fruit trees and a wonderful inchie
